Sree Sankara Vidyapeetam is an English medium school (affiliated to CBSE Delhi) in Mattanur. It was established in the year 1994. It has grown from a primary school to a senior secondary school within 13 years of its existence. The school is under the Sree Mahadeva Educational Trust and is managed by Sri CM Balan Nambiar. The Principal of the school Sri MV Gopalan Master has a very efficient role in converting the school into what it is now.
